This policy explains when fees paid to Kumarnetic Private Limited (Kumar Classes) may be refunded, and how refunds are processed. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Kumar Classes provides personalised one-to-one teaching. Faculty time is committed and paid for each hour delivered, which is reflected in the refund terms below.
1. Admission / Registration Fee
The one-time admission or registration fee is non-refundable once admission is confirmed, as it covers administrative processing and assessment.
2. Tuition Fee Refund
Why a deduction applies. Kumar Classes provides personalised one-to-one teaching. A faculty member is engaged and paid for every teaching hour delivered to your child. Once a class has been taught, that cost has already been incurred by us and cannot be recovered. The per-hour deduction below reflects this actual cost of delivery — it is not a penalty.
- A refund claim must be submitted in writing within 15 days from the commencement of classes.
- No refund is payable after 15 days from the commencement of classes.
- A deduction of ₹1,200 per one-to-one teaching hour delivered will be made from the refundable amount.
- Goods & Services Tax (GST) already paid on the fee is not refundable. Refunds are calculated on the taxable value of the fee, excluding GST.
- The refundable amount will never be less than zero. Where deductions equal or exceed the fee paid, no refund is payable and no additional amount is charged.
Example: On a tuition fee of ₹20,000 (inclusive of 18% GST), the taxable value is ₹16,949.15 and GST is ₹3,050.85. If 6 one-to-one teaching hours have been delivered, ₹7,200 is deducted from the taxable value, and ₹9,749.15 is refunded. The GST component is not refunded.
3. Classes Not Attended
Fees are not refunded or adjusted for classes a student does not attend, including absence due to illness, travel, school commitments, or examinations.
4. Discontinuation by Kumar Classes
If we discontinue a batch or are unable to deliver a course for which fees have been paid, we will offer either a suitable alternative batch or a proportionate refund for the undelivered portion, at the parent's option.
5. Failed, Duplicate or Incorrect Online Payments
Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, PayU.
- If an amount is debited from your account but the payment is not confirmed, it is normally reversed automatically by your bank within 5–7 working days.
- If a duplicate payment is made, or an incorrect amount is paid, please contact us within 7 days with your transaction ID. Verified duplicate or excess payments will be refunded in full.
- Refunds are made only to the original payment method used. We do not refund to a different account, card, or UPI ID.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are initiated within 10 working days of approval. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer and is typically an additional 5–7 working days.

- Study material, books, or test series already issued
- Payment gateway charges, where applicable
8. How to Request a Refund
Write to info@kumarclasses.com or call 9343383237 with the student's name, class, payment or transaction ID, and the reason for your request. We will respond within 7 working days.
